Camping is Fun! By: Janine Lock

Campfire We make a fire to cook our food. Making a fire is nice because it is warm.

Cooking hotdogs

Roasting Marshmallows

Camping stove If you don’t want to cook on the campfire, use a camping stove.

What else can we do? Fishing is hard work, but lots of fun!

Canoeing Maybe we can just go canoeing instead of fishing!

I love camping in a tent!

Sleeping bag Roll it up to carry it. Unroll it to sleep on it.

Spray on bug spray to keep the bugs away!

Backpack Carry all your camping supplies in your backpack.

Hiking

Compass A compass helps us to find our way. We might need a map, too.

What can we see outside? We can see all kinds of animals and plants outside.

What animals can we see?

We can see lots of animals in the forest.

Flashlight

Lantern A lantern lets us see at night.

First Aid kit A first aid kit has medicine and band- aids in case someone gets hurt.

I love camping! It is so much fun!
