About us. Bio-Cascade Inc. specializes in solutions for air and water pollution using the patented bio-systems that are known as the CAP™ -Clean Air Plant and CWP™-Clean Water Plant

Along with the bio-detergent formula BioOx® we can provide a guaranteed solution to any indoor or outdoor air quality or waste process water treatment problem.

Our systems neutralize the charged particles which carry air pollution, draw them into the unit where they are destroyed by the Bio-Detergent No harmful chemicals and no messy filters to change

CAP ™ Clean Air Plant History 1996: Introduction of CAP-Clean Air Plant for control of Indoor Air Quality. World 1 st and only Biological IAQ Control System. 2002: Business Achievement Award: Technology Merit Award for Biological Air and Water Cleaning Systems, Environmental Business Journal.

Bio-Hygienics Contaminants and odors that are persistent travel on particulates. Small particles, the ones which are most harmful, are resistant to normal air flow and cannot be vented. Most large particles will travel with air flow and can be vented.

These particulates are electrically charged. Bio-hygienics: continued For these reasons, many odors and fumes linger even when an area is exhausted. Their motion is controlled by electrical fields not by air flow.

CAP™ creates an electrically neutral “clean zone.” Contaminants, both positively and negatively charged, are attracted to this neutral clean zone, where they are captured in the unit and biologically oxidized. Patented Technology

“ “Bio-Detergent” BioOx® All Natural Media is a patented formula using Microbes and Enzymes. The formula uses what is called immobilized cell technology

Most comparable Bio-Oxidation processes have space and time constraints. Most other systems use "free cell" technology, which is slow, prohibits indoor applications, and causes residual disposal (sludge) problems.

Combined with the design of our patented BioStack® Cartridge used on our bio-systems, immobilization technology is the breakthrough that brings the power of enzymes and micro organisms together.

Immobilized biofilms are the subset of our immobilization technology. Immobilized cells are far superior and more intelligent than free cells.

Here is why.... They arrange back to back and are not exposed to attacks by chemicals or other microbes. They form a protective gel layer which makes them further resistant to highly toxic compounds.

They do not settle to the bottom of the reservoir like free cells. They remain in the biofilm. They do not wash out at high liquid flow rates when used to clean either air or water.

The biofilm is reusable. Water or air may be recycled over the same Biofilm thousands of times.

Our microbes are fully grown and need no food source. Therefore, they do not produce a residual waste other than a small amount of CO2 and water. They will sustain themselves until they have pollution to consume. This is unlike free cell technology.

BioOx® is added to our systems based on a formula and amount of pollution being consumed. This formula will digest any organic containment, it will also render any no organic material harmless.

Free Cells versus Immobilized Cells Advantages of Immobilization Technology Protective gel layer Immobilized cells Biosupport FREE CELLS are exposed to attack by microorganisms and chemicals from all sides FREE CELLS get washed out during floods or high flow FREE CELLS sediment when pumps fail IMMOBILIZED CELLS  Are back-to-back, not exposed.  Have protective gel layer.  Do not sediment.  Do not wash out.

Hydrocarbon Vapor Destruction In CAP90, residence time = 0.7 sec

% Ammonia destruction CAP902X destruction of pure ammonia from an industrial reactor. No vent to the outside.

Will capture and destroy diesel particles as low as.3 microns

Data from and Independent Test ”. CAP© 90 Used in and Office area, blue “before”, purple “after

Substantial cost savings Superior technology to Carbon and substantially more economical. Removes and digests small particles and more that HEPA cannot handle. Single technology, single solution.

Very low maintenance. Can be installed modularly to meet growing demands.

How CAPs Work Contaminated air flows through the unit Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are drawn into the CAP where they are oxidized Heavy metals and particles are adsorbed onto the cartridge where they are washed into the reservoir Fan electrical cord Water recirculation line Water level column Drain plug Submersible water pump Fan (Air outlet) Spiral cartridge Air inlet Water reservoir Pump electrical cord

Concentrated VOC stream generators 1.Ships, tanks, tankers 2.Industrial Platers 3.Commercial printers 4.Refineries and chemical plants 5.Nail and hair salons 6.Auto Mechanics and Body Shops 7.Train and Bus Stations

Available technologies for concentrated VOC streams 1.Venting: doesn’t work, can be illegal, is unsafe 2.Ozonizers, ionizers, UV: inject powerful chemicals, charges, or energy toxic, can’t use with people around, don’t do gases and particles, are dangerous 3.Carbon filters: don’t do polar compounds, plug with particles, can catch fire 4.Thermal oxidizers: are dangerous, costly, can’t take sudden feed fluctuations 5.Chemical scrubbers: Cost money, use water, not reliable, can channel 6.Biological oxidizers: Technology of the future

Environmentally Friendly Systems are proven to assist in reducing costly venting and air exchange and saving energy in the process. Reduce or eliminate harmful pollution you are currently venting.

CWP™- Clean Water Plant may allow you to reuse some, or most of your waste process water. Save on water costs, conventional treatments and other waste water disposal fees.

Technology will eliminate nuisance odor and hazardous problems including : Anatomy labs Waste transfer and treatment plants Diesel and gasoline fumes Carbon Monoxide Mold and other spores Paint fumes. (Paint will even dry faster!) Particulates Hair and nail salon fumes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’S) Automotive and Body Shops Many more!
