I-680 CORRIDOR BACKGROUND I-680 from US 101 to Alameda County was constructed in 1970’s. No significant upgrades since original construction. Congestion and operational issues have increased over many years. 3

TRAFFIC OPERATIONS ASSESSMENT Existing Conditions: Travel Speed AM Northbound less than 35 mph between 101 and Berryessa Rd. PM Southbound less than 35 mph between Jacklin and McKee Rd. 5
CORRIDOR STUDY DEVELOPMENT The I-680 Corridor Study Will Consider A Wide Range of Potential Improvements: Highway Improvements Local Street and Multi-Modal Improvements Off-Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Transit Upgrades Soundwalls 6
