Conditioning Trainer N.J. Lundquist

Job overview A typical day would be working with athletes to stay in shape for the upcoming season. Trying to keep athletes in shape during off season is important for them so they can be better at their sport.

Why I want to do this? I love sports and working out so why wouldn’t I want to train athletes. I also enjoy working with people and in training I would get to meet many different people.

Education I’d have to get a sports training license (In the process) Would have to take human body courses at either OK College or UBCO Costs are too much for me.

Salary/Future outlook Starting salary depends where your working I would want to start off working in a Gym. The highest I could get paid depends on who I’m working for. I would want to be working for a hockey team training hockey players.

Working Conditions Working conditions would be tiring mentally and physically. There would be a risk of injury because you could pull a muscle or something like that.

Related occupations Personal trainer may be the only thing I would want to do that is related to condition training. Id probably go to hairdressing school if non of it works out.

Resources My resources are the sites the class has given me and youtube on my own time Also I’ve talked to people who have done this before.
