Consolidating Support for Veterans in Rural Mountain Communities Why Bother?  Why Bother?  Membership in Veterans Organizations:  Dropping in Numbers  Aging  Does not fully represent recent service periods  Excludes Necessary Community “Touch Points”  Struggling Rural Communities Experience Other Limiting Factors as Well
