 Learn the different parts of the guitar.  Learn the guitar string names.  Learn how to hold a guitar.  Learn the proper way to hold a guitar pick.

Easy way to memorize strings names is remembering the saying, Eddie Ate, Dynamite, Good, Bye, Eddie. Learning string names is vital in beginning to understand guitar theory.

Acoustic Position- Mostly generally used for modern music, rock, country, and pop. Classical Position- Generally used for classical music.

 Movie TutorialTutorial  After watching video, practice strumming your guitar and getting comfortable using it.

 Memorize the different parts of the guitar and the string names.  Practice a couple of different chords and be prepared to show them next class meeting.  Have a great day!!!
