Marketing Assignment

Puzzles My product is “puzzles with cartoon pictures on it”. Those pictures are basic from “Tangled”. It will have different sizes, such as 30-pieces, 60-pieces, 100-pieces and so on. It’s easy for our consumers to choose our products. When we watch the movie, there are lots of emotional moment, so I will choose those pictures for my products. I think it will be successful because this is a cartoon and children like watching this movie, they also like puzzles, it will makes them feel exciting.

Consumer Profile Demographics Age: Because our products are puzzles with cartoon pictures on them. So usually it is for children, basic little children. Therefore, our first target age demographic is Pre-customers market(0-9). Also, parents want them because puzzles can make their children be more creative and practice their brain during they are playing. Therefore, our secondary target age demographic is the Family formation market(25-40).

Gender: Both man and women can buy our product. Therefore, the gender demographic is not very important for our consumer profile. Family Life Cycle: Because puzzles are usually for little children and parents who have little baby. Therefore, our family life cycle might be Married, with small children. Income level: Puzzles are not very expensive, so income level is not very important for our products.

Ethnicity and Culture: This cartoon can not play in China cinema, so there are not too much people know this movie. Maybe our target market will be people who live in North America and Canada.

Psychographic Little children likes playing everything they are interested in. Puzzles are pieces at first, children always want make them to compete picture. It can make them feel successful. They want buy our puzzles because they like this movie, the character, the story and the plot. Also, parents want their children do something that make their children be creative, therefore puzzle is a good toy.

Geographic Our product will be sold in Disney Land. People from all over the world would like to go there. So it is for the people all over the world. Also, maybe we will sell it online. It is for people who watch this movie and like it but they can not go to Disney Land, they can buy it online. Whatever they live.

Marketing Mix Product Mix: My product is puzzle. It has pictures of ”Tangled ” on them. Our branding will be a big letter “P”. It stands for puzzles. And we will use square boxes to package them. It won’t broke the puzzles easily.

Promotion Mix: We will advertise our product by using posters and magazines. The posters will put on the board near the bus station and in Disney Land. We will put some information on cartoon magazines. Because little children will see it and maybe they will like our product. For sales: We will make a sale about: if you buy 3 boxes of puzzles, we will give you one more.

Pricing Mix: Puzzles are not very expensive toy, so we won’t make a very high price. Just about 5 – 10 dollars for each. Of course, that just for small size, if you want big size, usually between 10 – 15 dollars. Place Mix: This is for little children and there is a tower in Disney Land like the tower in the movie. So we want to sell the products in Disney Land and we also want to sell it online, for the people who can not go to Disney Land.

Conclusion Therefore, we will sell puzzles in Disney Land and online. For 5-15 dollars each. It has pictures form tangled on them. Our first target market is the Pre-customers market(0-9). Secondary target market is the Family formation market(25-40). You can see our advertisement at bus station and on magazines. It can helps children to practice their creative brain! Come to buy it!
