Chocó

The Emberá people are native to Chocó, Colombia.

Through the Church in Colombia, SCIAF have helped Jose Alejandro to set up a small fish farm.

Dear God, We thank you for this beautiful world in which we live, but we are sorry for the things we do that harm it. We pray for those that feel the affects of climate change and environmental damage including those in Colombia. Help us to support them in their time of need and help us to change the way we live in order to care for your world better. Amen.

The Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund is the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in Scotland. We support people in some of the poorest countries in the world, to work their way out of poverty. We also respond to emergencies and campaign for a more just world.
