The purpose of this section is to outline the specific disciplinary guidelines for safety related issues and return-to-work policy. Zero Tolerance Policy Safety related non-compliance issues shall be addressed with a progressive disciplinary procedure as outlined below: 1.Verbal Warning First offense of a severity 1 incident, Effect of the incident on the record is 12 months 2.Written Reprimand If the sum of the severity of the incidents on record adds up to 2 or a Severity 2, Effect of the incident on the record is 12 months 3.Time off If the sum of the severity of the incidents on record adds up to 3 or a Severity 3 Effect of the incident on the record is 12 months 4.Dismissal If the sum of the severity of the incidents on record adds up to 7 or more A Severity 4 violation
