Annual Meeting cont’d ENSURE…  THE SCHOOL PROVIDES high-quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment.  REVIEW OF student’s academic assessment during P/T conferences, phone and written communication, and during progress report and report card issuance.  PARENTS AND SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL involved in developing school-home compacts which describes the partnership needed to achieve Kentucky’s standards.  PARENTS have a voice in parental involvement budget.  DISTRICT makes provisions for opportunities and participation of parents with limited English proficiency, as those situations arise.  DISTRICT AND SCHOOLS conduct annual survey. 10/25/2015 3

Memorial Elementary School Parent Involvement Policy Our Council recognizes our student’s families and local community members as essential partners in helping each student succeed. We commit ourselves to: Sharing clear information about each student’s progress with the student’s family. Offering practical suggestions to families on how they can support student learning at home. 10/25/
