Presentation transcript:

A whole lot of John: 1:18 “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known.” 14:6 “I am the way and the truth and the life.” 14:6 “No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Throughout John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.” 10:38 “the Father is in me, and I in the Father” 14:7 “If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” 14:9 “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

20:17 “Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” 1:12” Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” A New Identity

A New Home 17:14 “I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.” 14:2 “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Complete Security 17:14-15 “I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Complete Security 10:27-30 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

Knowing how to ask 15:16 “and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”

Motivation to Serve 8:29 “The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”

But… 17: 26 “I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

And if not… 3:35-36 “The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” 6:40 “For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
