Billy Bob, Marybelle, and Bubba were bragging about their superior math understanding of division. They each decided to take division problems and show how they could be solved in different ways. What were they thinking?

Billy Bob said he could use the place value blocks to represent 324 divided by 4. 1.Use the place value blocks to do the same and prove that you are as bodacious as Billy Bob. 2.Record a piece of knowledge about division which this activity points out. 3.Show me your representation when you have finished.

Marybelle just loves to decompose numbers to find easy numbers to use.
