Part of the Sandvik Group Tooling Mining & Construction Materials Technology The Sandvik Group is a world-leader in three selected areas. Tooling specialises in cemented carbide and high-speed steel tools for metalworking. Sandvik Coromant is a part of this business area. Tooling is active in three areas, indexable tools – where you can find Sandvik Coromant, solid tools and blanks and wear parts. Mining & Construction concentrates on machinery, tools and service for rock excavation. Materials Technology focuses on products in advanced materials, special alloys, resistance materials — and stainless steel. The Sandvik Group has more than 95% of the sales and two thirds of production outside Sweden. The Sandvik Group operates in 130 countries across the world. In Europe and North America. In South America, Africa and the Middle East. In Asia and Australia. Customers are active in many industries, including automotive and aerospace, mining and construction, chemical, oil and gas, power, pulp and paper, household appliances, electronics, medical technology and pharmaceuticals. About two thirds of the products are industrial consumption goods, and one third investment goods.
