Why are these so popular?  2. How has our visual watching experience changed over time with TV? Cable, netflix, TIVO/DVR, binge-watching, on-demand, on hand- held devices (computer/phone)

EVOLUTION OF TV  3. How has the introduction of TIVO & DVR changed the way we watch TV? Consider: ~20% of the 110 million TV owners have digital recording options & that number continues to rise More than ½ the people surveyed only watch recorded shows (i.e. no “live” TV) People skip ~ 70% of commercials
