The Neighbourhood Development Order Grants planning permission for specified developments in a neighbourhood area Therefore no need to apply to the council for planning permission for the development the NDO covers. Does not override heritage designations Community Right to Build Order Type of Neighbourhood Development Order Communities bringing forward their own development.

Localism and NPPF15 th November The neighbourhood planning process Neighbourhood Forum i) Application name; written constitution; name of area and map; contact details of one member; and statement explaining how meet 61F (5) of the 1990 Act. established for express purpose of promoting/improving social, economic and environmental well being of an area; membership open to individuals who live, work or are elected members within the area; minimum of 21 individuals; has a written constitution; and such other conditions has may be prescribed.
