Process:  2 nd Draft of Colorado Water Plan (CWP) Released July 7 th, 2015  Final Public Comments due September 17 th, 2015 SPBRT and Metro RT Interaction:  Immediate comments from SPBRT and Metro RT on IBCC Conceptual Framework and Chapter (Conservation Stretch Goal) ahead of IBCC August 25 th meeting  Joint common roundtable comments from SPBRT and Metro RT – in progress o Introduction o Water Supply Uncertainties o Storage o Conservation: Conservation Stretch Goal o Efficiency: Municipal and Agricultural – impacts o Environmental and Recreational – additions needed (better assess gap, addressing gap with multi purpose projects and funding) o Interbasin Projects and Agreements – continue forward with collaborative effort. o Further strengthen framework for more efficient water project permitting processes. o Consider cost implications and increase awareness and support for funding throughout the CWP. o Add or revise specific action items in Section 10 (Critical Action Plan) to follow up on main points.
