Statistics of the human body By Michael Tomasi

Lots of Facts 1 The FEMUR bone is as strong as Concrete. The Muscular system takes up about 45% of your total body weight. If you were to put your finger in your brain it would not hurt because there are no nerves in the brain. 15 million blood cells die every second. There are 72km of nerves in the humans skin. In 24 hours, the average human will breathe 23,040 times. A fully grown adult has 206 bones.

Lots of Facts 2 The longest bone in a Human being is the femur. Gluteus Maximus is the biggest muscles in the Muscular system. The human heart beats at an average of 70 beats per minute when doing nothing. It takes blood 20 seconds to circulate the whole body. Blood comes back to the heart from veins. It takes 72 muscles to just say one word. When you sneeze you lose blood cells.

Lots of Facts 3 Your body uses 300 muscles to balance itself when you are standing still. The human heart pumps 1.5 million gallons of blood a year. The left side of your brain controls your right side of the body and vice versa. It takes 12 hours for your body to completely digest the food from one meal. There are just over 600 muscles in the muscular system. An adult human body contains approximately 100 trillion cells. Every human spent about half an hour as a single cell

Lots of Facts 4 Women's heart beats faster than men's. The human brain is 85% water. The funny bone is not a bone it is a nerve. The bones in your body are not white they range from beige to light brown. The bones you see in museums are white because they have been boiled and cleaned A Humans left lung is smaller than the right lung to leave room for the Heart. It takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown.

Thank you for watching my presentation I hope you enjoyed it.
