Sky Brightness Network - Results Two years Night Sky Brightness measurements in The Netherlands | Pamplona Night Sky Brightness and variability behave as expected: low at remote areas and high in cities and industrial areas. Human behaviour results in lowest luminances during first hours of a new day. Implementation of legislation on light emissions yields clear signals in the monitoring data. A simple power law is established between luminance levels under clear sky and solid overcast. Long-term monitoring can improve sky brightness modeling.
