Lesson Overview Objectives To understand what esafety is about and why its important To be able to understand a range of dangers of being online in particular for young people OutcomesTime Task 1Discussion – Why is e-safety being taught in school around the world and what does it mean to you. Task 2In groups Identify your use of the internet and potential dangers. Task 3Debate: Groups can be paired up and debate the issues listed. Unit 1 – eSafety

Task 1 – Discussion Discuss in Groups: – Why is eSafety being taught in schools around the world. – What does it mean to you. – What are the potential dangers of being online. Share your Groups findings with the rest of the class – Why is it so important pupils are educated about being safe online. Unit 1 – eSafety
