Tribal People The people in this presentation live in the forest in Papua New Guinea.

The People of the Forest They live closely with nature. They live in harmony with nature. They do not waste the natural resources.

These people appreciate their environment.

They do not waste energy on unneeded light.

They are living in simplicity but in keeping with the cocepts of co – existence we have lost.

They cut trees down only when necessary. They may not have the words we would use but they are natural stewards of the forest.

These people co- exist with nature in a profound understanding & appreciation of their environment.

They are guardians of the forest. They will preserve what they have today to hand on to the next generation the same forest. In fact they have been doing so for thousands of years.

Every aspect of their lives is sustained by the forest.

Progress in conjunction with nature not against it.

Hunting from nature is not to exploit but to manage.

Man & nature in a harmony of co existence.

These people have a spiritual understanding of their role in the keeping safe the environment. They may not be religious in the way we understand. Yet that does not make them less spiritual.

People whose lives are so closely connected to nature that the idea of destroying the environment is inconceivable.

Hunting for food. If they do not catch anything they will go without. We have along ago abandoned that idea of going without. Now we demand food so we even have obese people.

Some people do starve. So the idea that modern man is thinking of using the resources wisely is nonsense.

They use only what is necessary from the land in order to live.

They would never pollute their own environment
