The Response (part 1)  Peter and John are arrested…yet many believed!  The interrogation  By what authority? (see Mark 11, Luke 20)  “The name of Jesus! There is no one else.”  The decision of the Sanhedrin…?  The response of Peter and John  You must take responsibility for your actions…  But we were appointed witnesses…so we must witness!

The Response (part 2)  Peter and John return to the church to report  Then the church begins to pray  Addressed to the Sovereign Lord  Recognition of the ongoing story of God  God’s power in creation  God’s preservation of Israel, despite opposition  The continuing opposition to God and his Anointed  Request for  Boldness in teaching  Power in doing
