Redemption Gen 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

Four Great Lessons ● Man must have adequate covering to approach God ● Fig leaves are unacceptable; they are man made ● God must provide the covering ● Only obtained through Christ Genesis 3

Sufficient Covering ● Cannot come to God via works ● Must come Just As I Am: a sinner ● Only Christ's atoning death covers ● Man must have substitute between himself and God's wrath Genesis 3

Salvation Salvation comes when you and I take our proper place as sinners before God. Genesis 3

Life After the Fall Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." Genesis 3

Life After the Fall Gen 3:23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. Genesis 3

Life After the Fall Gen 3:24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3

Life After the Fall All I can say to this is, thank God that He did not let man live eternally in sin and God is not going to let us do that. That really is a blessing! Genesis 3
