2 Corinthians 6:14-18 “for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?” “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,” verse 17 6

Who taught All Division was Wrong? Jesus taught that division was inevitable: Luke 12:51-53; Matthew 5:10-12; Matthew 15:12, “don’t you know they were offended?” Paul wrote: 1 Corinthians 11:18-19; Ephesians 5:5-11, “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness” 7

WHAT PART OF “NO” DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND? Will the teaching and preaching of Ephesians 5:11; 2 John 9-11, lead to division in the church? Yes! (Of course, if we just ignore it and don’t teach it perhaps we can move those that don’t agree with us toward a better understanding of God’s word!”) Colossians 2:18 8

Doctrines and Wisdom of Men When preachers and brethren embrace the doctrines of men, and then declare that all division is evil, they then can neutralize anyone that would dare raise a question that might be interpreted as being the cause of a division. 9

Doctrines and Wisdom of Men Do you see how they can stop all open and honest investigation, and thereby elevate the false teacher and his followers to a status of being ABOVE QUESTION? 10

Who we are not talking about tonight: 1. Those that have accepted and practice Unity in Diversity – “Why can’t we just all get along?” “You’re Ok, I’m Ok” “ Come as you are, stay as you are!” 2. Those that have embraced the false teachings of the Grace-Fellowship- Unity Movement” of the Seventies, Eighties, and Nineties. 11

Who we are talking about: 1. Brethren who claim to be conservative, non-institutional, and sound on MDR, yet they compromise the truth by holding out the “right hand of fellowship” in the name of “Open and Honest Investigation.” 12

Who we are talking about: 2. Brethren that hold Florida College and any other manmade “Religious” college as the final authority on what the Bible teaches. 3. Brethren that hold up the Brotherhood papers as being the standards of truth. 13
