Scientific Investigation All science courses develop scientific investigation skills related to both inquiry and research. Possible career opportunities are investigated.

Grade 11 Science Courses There are four possible courses you can choose in grade 11 SPH3U1 11 university physics SBI3U1 11 university biology SBI3C1 11 college biology SCH3U1 11 university chemistry

11 University Physics Students will study motion, forces, energy and society, waves and sound, electricity and magnetism.

Some 11U Physics Activities Building spring launchers Analyzing projectiles Building electromagnets Analyzing sound systems Wonderland field trip

11 University Biology Students will study diversity of living things, evolution, genetic processes, structure and function of animals, anatomy growth and function of plants.

Some 11U Biology Activities Pig dissection Squid dissection Heart rate and exercise lab Breathing rate lab Nervous system lab VO 2 max lab Zoo field trip

11 College Biology Students will study cellular biology, microbiology, genetics, anatomy of mammals and plants in the natural environment.
