“Mind Your Own Business” On this first slide put the name of your business – your name and a picture

Types of Ownership On this slide – tell what kind of ownership your business will have and why. If you choose a partnership – you must include who is investing how much and what will be their role. If you choose to be a corporation, you must also name a board of directors

Generating Ideas What types of things will you sell, or what will be different about your service. What will be your pricing strategy How will you attract customers? Where will you be located? (It must be in Bloomington) Will you have a catchy name or slogan? Create a slogan and an ad picture on this page. This will have to be an additional slide.

Raising Capitol Where will you get your money. Remember different kinds of ownership have different ways to secure funding.

Employment How many employees will you have? What benefits will you offer to them Will they be full or part time? Create a list of the “Top ten” expectations for your employees while at work. (This will be a separate slide)

Buying goods and services This is a starting point of a list of all the outside goods and services you will need. You may want to break them up into a table of the 3 kinds of resources!

Marketing Create a newspaper advertisement for your opening day Do you want to put in a coupon? Don’t forget vital information like address phone, , hours etc.

Maintaining Records Make a list of what kinds of things you will need to track and report to make sure you know how your business is doing. Will you do this yourself or hire someone?
