WHAT IS WEB-BASED CURRICULUM?  Web-based curriculum is any student learning that is facilitated by means of Internet usage.

WEB QUESTS A “WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web” (Dodge, 2007).   Web quests are FREE.  Can easily be integrated to accommodate any lesson objective.  Gives students a goal-oriented task.  Teaches students to think more critically while learning to use the internet effectively.

WIKISPACES “WikiSpaces Classroom is a social writing platform for education” (WikiSpace, 2014).   Easy to use.  Excellent means of student collaboration in the classroom.  Provides “active-learning” activities.  Teachers can easily monitor student work.

INTERACTIVE WEBSITES An interactive learning website is any website that facilitates students learning.  (PK-K; Reading, Phonic, Math)  (PK-2: Reading & Phonics)  (K-12- A Variety of Subject Areas)  (Elementary: A Variety of Subject Areas)
