Respect for authority Self-discipline involves acceptance of authority “light comes on” when some key things are understood: –Things have to be done. –Some people must ensure everything gets done. –Understand this may help you to respect authority Respect for authority & discipline reinforce each other. How do leader’s earn respect?

Integrity? firm adherence to a code of moral or artistic values –honesty. –guided by a sense of right & wrong –your set of values. Reinforced by parents, guardians, and teachers military requires integrity –Behavior and motives must be above suspicion –members must trust that others have done their jobs…lives depend on it. Can you think of other careers that require integrity?
