Do you need quotation marks? Does your evidence support your specific answer? C: Cite your evidence if required (in-text citation) (par #) if citing from a single article for your writing (par 10) (author last name page number) (DeLong 5) E: Explain how your evidence proves your answer (this also serves as a conclusion sentence) Begin with a transition that lets your reader know you are wrapping up your analysis. Be sure to connect your evidence to your answer. RAEECE: What does it stand for?

5-Second Rule RAEECE Based on the article, I would not follow the five second rule since there are too many germs on the floor. As a result, the chance of getting sick increases by eating food that has been dropped on the floor. According to the article, Professor Lejeune stated that, “eating food off the floor violates pretty much every recommended method for preventing food-borne illnesses” (par 10). Clearly, if I eat food off the floor, I am drastically increasing my chance of contracting some sort of food-borne illness, so therefore, I will continue to not pick up and eat food off the floor.

5 Sec Raeece Based on the article, I would not follow the five second rule since it’s not healthy. There are a plethora (numerous/multiple/a wide variety) of germs living (residing) on the floor that can cause food poisoning or other nasty and unpleasant diseases. According to the article, Professor Lejeune stated that, “eating food off the floor violates pretty much every recommended method for preventing food-borne illnesses” (par 10). Clearly, if I want to prevent a chance of contracting food poisoning, I am not going to follow the five second rule.

5 Sec Rule RAEECE Based on the article, I would not follow the five second rule since it is harmful to your health. Even though I can’t see anything harmful on the food, bacteria and other microscopic organisms can attach to the food resulting in food poisoning or other illnesses. According to the article, Professor Lejeune stated that, “eating food off the floor pretty much violates every recommended method for preventing food-borne illnesses” (par 10).
