Learning Objectives Propose a model for a pediatric hospital medicine sub-internship Advocate for the creation or improvement of a pediatric hospital medicine subinternship

Philosophy Broad exposure to Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Unique and excellent clinical and learning experience

Goals Provide inpatient management of general pediatric patients Gain exposure to diverse field of PHM

Elective Objectives Based upon six core competencies –Patient Care –Medical Knowledge –Practice-Based Learning and Improvement –Interpersonal and Communication Skills –Professionalism –Systems-Based Practice
