MR. SIR Mr. Sir seems to be friendly but he’s tough. Mr. Sir is one of the counselors at Camp Green Lake. He is tough and mean and is constantly eating sunflower seeds to keep away from smoking.

Mr. Pendanski Mr. Pendanski is in charge of tent D, Stanley's tent at Camp Green Lake. He seems to be friendly but really he is just as mean as the Warden and Mr. Sir. This is revealed by his constant taunting of Zero and by his total lack of concern for the safety of Stanley and Zero when they are covered in deadly yellow-spotted lizards.

X-Ray X-Ray is the leader of the group of boys at Camp Green Lake. Although he is small and cannot see well, he manages to take charge and have the other boys follow his orders. He is nice to Stanley when Stanley gives him the gold tube that he finds in the dirt.

SETTING The setting for the book holes is a dried up desert. With a thumb shaped mountain

PROBLEM The problem in holes is Stanley was accused of stealing the legendary Clyde Livingston’s sneakers. Stanley yelnats lll was finding a way to make a cure for stinky shoes. Zero was trying to find but couldn’t hire a investigating program to find her

solution Stanley yelnats llll was found innocent from stealing Clyde’s sneakers that he donated to a homeless shelter. Stanley’s father found a cure for stinky shoes and it was peaches 9or as zero called it sploosh). After uncovering Stanley’s treasure they found almost a million dollars to buy a new house for him and his parents, and to hire a investigating crew to help Zero find his mom.

SUMMARY The book Holes is a book about two boy’s adventure on how just a little bit of team work you can accomplish anything. That’s exactly what Stanley and Zero did.
