EA Group Workshop Supporting schools in curriculum change.

Step 1 Divide a sheet of flip chart into 3 equal sections. In the middle section list responses to the question below. How do you currently evaluate a schools progress?

Step 2 Consider the list in light of the guidance in BtC3, which items are effective and not effective? Highlight or mark the approaches or strategies which you wish to retain as they are or with some modification.

Step 3 Record responses to the 2 questions below in the other 2 sections of the paper. What do we need to do in order to support and challenge schools as they develop their curriculum structures? How are we going to do that?

Step 4 Share the results of your discussion with the other groups.
