My crew and I rounded the Cape of Hope on November 22.I reached Calicut, India on May 20, 1498.

I sailed up the St. Lawrence River and recognized it. I continued on, establishing Mont Real which you call Montreal, Canada. One of the things I discovered is the St. Lawrence River.
