The Vikings came from Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The Vikings captured York. The Vikings had a battle with Scotland.

Viking women liked beads, but strung them from brooches, not round their necks as necklaces. Vikings loved having feasts to celebrate weddings and winning wars. They made combs out of bones. Guests sat at wooden tables to eat. The woman did all of the house work.

The Vikings told myth's about Freya, Thor, Loki, Odin and Freyar. There's a myth called Loki's children. Freya could turn into a falcon. Loki had 3 children they were called He l a snake and a cat

The Vikings gave keys instead of rings. Viking women liked beads, but strung them from brooches, not round their necks as necklaces. Viking children helped with the jobs. As well as farming, cooking and cleaning. The Viking They made there own butter.

In one story, Thor, the god of thunder, tries to prove his strength to the Giant King by attempting to lift a giant cat. But he could only lift one of its paws! Odin was the ruler of the gods, and the god of magic, poetry and war. His wife was the motherly Frigg, and their son was Balder, who was kind and gentle. Freya was goddess of love and fertility, and wept golden tears when she was unhappy. She had a twin brother Freyr, and their sacred animal was the boar. Toilets were holes dug outside, often in small huts.

Vikings believed that a warrior killed in battle went to Valhalla, a great hall where dead heroes feasted at long tables. Odin sent his warror- maidens, the Valkyries, riding through the skies to bring dead warriors to Valhalla.feasted Odin had an eight legged horse.
