Vocabulary Definitions Shape: When lines meet to enclose a space. Geometric (square, triangle, circle) Organic (irregular in outline) Color: Hue is another word for color. Examples: yellow, yellow-orange, blue-violet, green Color spectrum: A band of colors produced when white light passes through a prism and is broken into separate wavelengths. A color wheel shows the approximate visible spectrum arranged in a circle.
