Fire Station Field Trip October 4, 2007

Kindergarten students begin their tour of the fire station by putting on hats and badges.

One of the best parts of a trip to the fire station is seeing the fire fighters slide down the pole.

The kindergarten students learned that fire fighters eat well to keep up their energy. Does your kitchen come equipped with three refrigerators?

There’s no shortage of easy chairs in the living room. Time for some rest and relaxation. Is there time for a movie before we head back to kindergarten?

The fire fighters showed us their equipment. It’s important to know that it is still the fire fighter under the mask. If you get caught in a fire, don’t hide. The fire fighters are there to help rescue you.

Finally, the best part of a trip to the fire station was climbing aboard the trucks! Finally, the best part of a trip to the fire station was climbing aboard the trucks!

It was a wonderful trip to the fire station! We learned so much. You just may be looking at some future fire fighters!

God bless our fire fighters! Special thanks goes to the Brownsburg Fire Department for conducting the field trip.
