The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide timely, reliable, and user-friendly data and research services to all units at East Central University and external agencies that is integral to the strategic planning of the University.

 Does not align project completion time to goals.  Can track department and resources, but can not track details about the client and their location.  Unable to easily generate a report to show amount of hours spent on specific project that are tied to department and division goals.

Purpose:  Increase efficiency by establishing tracking metrics for success that are linked to measurable milestones.  To assess how well the IR Office is meeting stated goals.  To determine the amount of hours spent on internal/external projects.

Academic Priority 1.15: Maintain membership in the Voluntary System of Accountability. Academic Priority 4.3: Disseminate accurate information to prospective and current students.

Goal 1: Provide decision-support data, research and analysis to facilitate the University’s strategic planning process, accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness [IP1; AAP1.15] Goal 2: Provide accurate, timely, and user-friendly information. [IP4; SG1; AAP4.3]
