I chose this photographer for many reasons: 1.She seemed very interesting, as a person 2.She photographed on a very important time period in history, Great Depression era and the post-war era 3.Her photos caught my attention because I would like to know what it was like back then at that time and what she snapped definitely showed that 4.I’ve never learned about her before 5.I feel like she captured the citizens feelings and thoughts very well, so we can understand what it was like for them 6.She showed a broad topic of all different things, she didn’t just take pictures on one certain thing, it was just throughout that time in history 7.I like how all her pictures are black and white, it gives the photos more power and makes us focus on the picture as a whole and not just certain pieces of it PERSONAL REFLECTION
