Executive Directors Report Annual General Meeting – 31 July 2008

Broadband Campaign RFP RFP in June called for expressions of interest from parties able to research and analyse broadband strategy options for NZ Phase 1: Discovery process and literature review Phase 2: Deliver a “strawman” model with costings, possible investment approaches and the identification of any further work required RFP closed on 18 July, with 10 responses Preferred respondent to be selected by the end of next week

Cyberlaw Fellow Cyberlaw Fellow project now in third year Rick Shera and Simon Riley currently reviewing the project Likely to recommend continuation in some form Recommended that 2009/2010 budget includes provision for continuation of the project Review recommendations will be in members consultations early next year
