Location *Japan is located in East Asia. *Japan’s capital is Tokyo. Some of the other major cities are Yokohama, Kobe and Akita. *Japan does not share any borders with other countires because it is an island. *The latitude and longitude of Japan is 35 degrees north And 139 degrees east.

Topography *The highest mountain point is Mount Fuji. *The two major rivers are Shinano river and tone river *Japan is surrounded by the pacific ocean and sea of japan
