Ultrasound Technician An ultrasound technician performs medical diagnosis using high frequency sound waves and imaging techniques to generate images of cross sections of organs. Technicians most times work under the direction of a radiologist.(A medical specialist who uses radioactive substances and X-rays in the treatment of disease.)

Requirements Anatomy and physiology Must also know how to take medical histories in order to guide ultrasound examinations. Computer, human science, and anatomy courses. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Safe Option for Future Ultrasound is safe and has no side effects. It allows for safer procedures. Ultrasound is fairly inexpensive and available to most all health care. Ultrasound is better than X-rays, soft tissue is not seen very well.

Salary, Security, Benefits The annual average ultrasound tech salary was $66,360, or $31.90 per hour in 2012, and this was based on a 40-hour working week. Job Security for ultrasound technicians is well preserved even during economic downtimes, the need for ultrasound technicians has increased year by year. This is because ultrasound is a main way to observe what is wrong with a patient. This means that no matter how bad the economy gets, or how many jobs are lost, ultrasound technicians are secure.

Existential Therapist Existential psychotherapy is a method of therapy that operates on the belief that inner conflict within a person is due to that individual's experiences. Also referred to as ultimate concerns, form the body of existential psychotherapy and compose the framework in which a therapist puts together a client's problem in order to develop a method of treatment. These ideas come from the four dimensions of human existence, the physical, social, personal and spiritual.

Salary, Security, and Benefits Existential therapists typically earn $53,000 a year. But this is completely dependent on the patient and the circumstance. Wage could depend on the experience of the therapist.

Good verbal and listening skills are required. A Psychotherapist must be skeptical as well as insightful, to see through the layers of clients' defenses. Persistence is also useful, to overcome the clients' resistance to meeting those goals.

Radiologic Technologist A radiologic technologist, also known as medical radiation technologist, and as radiographer, performs imaging of the human body for diagnosis. Radiographers work in hospitals, clinics, and private practice. Better known as an X-ray technician.

Radiologic Technologists earn about $64,000 a year. Radiologic technologists are entitled to benefit packages, benefits include health and dental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, paid vacations and sick time, and 401k savings plans.
