 Data partnerships and agreements  Try to use the best data available.  “Best” ▪ Scale ▪ Accuracy ▪ Update frequency and maintenance  Often times, this data is local data.

 GIS technology and systems continue to develop.  Use location-based systems for location data.  Develop and maintain core data while use other tools in the toolbox where appropriate.  Build once, use many, especially when communicating to difference audiences.
