SIT Tech. Workshop 2015 EUMETSAT, Darmstadt, Germany 17 th -18 th September 1. JAXA called for submissions of DAR articles in this spring. 2. All articles were reviewed by DAR Editorial Committee in accordance with the following points, and 49 articles were selected as DAR full reports in June. Evaluation Points for full report articles  Identify end user or value chain?  Clear outcome or benefit? 3. Editorial Committee picked up 11 articles for summary brochure in accordance with additional criteria at 3 rd teleconference on July 9th. Criteria to select articles for the summary  Social, economical or academic impact?  New or innovative application during the last decade? 4. Now, JAXA is asking for review of the summary to CEOS members by next Monday !! ( Summary has been submitted on 14 th,September ) 5. JAXA will ask for review of the full report in October. 7 Status of CEOS DAR

8 Post-DAR activities 1.JAXA is considering to apply findings from DAR in order to improve its data application activities. 2.Current thinking is: a.select representative data application cases b.conduct value chain analysis to find areas of improvement c.propose possible improvements and implement where possible 3.JAXA hopes to report on the outcome of this post-DAR activities at 2016 CEOS Plenary in Australia.
