PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project justification: Hakki Isik, the project sponsor, was not happy with his living room. He would like to replace the carpet in the living room with hardwood floor. He believes replacing the carpet and painting the walls will make the living room look better. Project scope: To do a makeover of the living room at Hakki’s house. Cost estimate: $1,500 Time goal: Feb 15 to May 6, 2005

ONE WEEK BEHIND SCHEDULE A BIT OVERBUDGET –The initial cost estimate does not include the small pieces such as the T-molding, hard surface reducer, and carpet transition. HOW’S OUR PROJECT DOING?
