As we walked home, I saw my friend Bethany walking along, and we counted the number of red cars we saw on the way home from school. We passed lots of trees with no leaves and a big park where I play sometimes. It took us about 15 minutes to walk home. Even though it was cold I enjoyed walking with my mum and Bethany.’ – by Jake, aged 6 and a half, Class 2S
