2 Internal Communication  Indonesia Some unions at local and national have access in . One federation ( Aspek ) have special computer lab cause have support from UNI ( affiliate ).  Philippines At National level have internet.Cellular phone is number one means of communication.  Cambodia Use outlook express Via Telephone line; no internet; has only 5 computers linked( LAN ); access internet for personal use only.  Samoa Access to the internet and also outlook express for personal mail

3 External Communication  Indonesia Have website and make communication to affiliate IMF. Philippines Have website Cambodia No external communication No website Samoa STUC have no external communication No website

4 Use of IT in trade union Not enough because at global area,information is very important to be shared between workers in local, national, regional and international Computer communication is very important to promote trade union and strengthen of labour movement. Information ( IT ) can advance the labour movement to be keep in touch between unions in the global.

5 Problems & Difficulties Not everybody ( trade unionist ) is aware and have knowledge in IT and use of computer because it is new and expensive. In availability of funds for computer equipments & training material Lack of time for doing others things instead of spending more time on computer. Cost of the internet

6 How to solve or overcome Have to create IT training programs for local union organisation and conduct trainings for union members Long Life training Task Force Can not afford.
