Presentation transcript:

By Sarah Long Freedom Roche Phil Herrington Revolutionaries

Revolutionaries were people who tried to influence politics and religion based on what they saw as good.

 The revolutionaries believed in god and attempted to try to live their lives in accordance with the bible. However, they also believed god only helped those who helped themselves.

 They had negative views on society, because society refuses to except their religion.  The American Revolution was about states rights, not religions. Slavery was the big issue.

 The revolutionaries leaders were basically the one’s that were in command of the operation it self, in 1775 the first leader which was in charge of the first armed encounter of the American Revolution was Paul Revere, and then "The United Colonies of America," adopted the troops engaged in the siege of Boston as their own "Continental Army," and by unanimous vote appointed George Washington as commander in chief.

 They believed in teaching a trade for future work, much like our vocational schools now a days.
