The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Monitoring Email At Work There are many different types of monitoring in the workplace. Not all are considered lawful but they are considered workplace rules.

There are different types of monitoring systems in the workplace A company can monitor its employees using various monitoring systems including call-monitoring video surveillance computer monitoring.

Employees monitoring is being used to: Increase customer satisfaction Improve employee performance Enhance productivity

The Advantages The advantages of workplace monitoring are to make sure every employee works hard or if some of the workers doing something bad like wasting time searching some website for personal reason or disturbing other workers. The advantages of workplace monitoring are one of the best way to increase the employee's work performance. If the employee know that they are being monitored, they will try to change their bad habits and make some improvement in their work performance. This knowledge can increase employee performance and efficiency.

The Disadvantages The stress that would be placed on the employees because of the knowledge that they could be watched at anytime. The stress can affect the motivation of the worker leading to a decrease in productivity. Also employees could feel that their employers do not trust them.

Monitoring in the workplace has become a very common thing Monitoring in the workplace has become a very common thing. It allows an employer to keep an eye on an employees activities. It can be by the means of checking computer programs and activities. Nothing is safe. The emails can be read and pulled up at any time through the means of the companies. So to avoid any hardships and firing in the company you should avoid doing any personal computer related things at work. If you don’t want the employer to see it don’t do it.
