TransRouter - Aims The TransRouter project will develop a prototype decision support tool for users of translation technology which will help them to decide whether a document or a number of files should be dealt with by: human translation human translation using translation tools machine translation

How? TransRouter will evaluate the usefulness of available resources in the context of a specific translation project and rank various translation scenarios based on: Project description –data supplied by the requester (translation manager) –the automatic analysis of text characteristics Resources available –Profiles and descriptions of backend systems –Linguistic resources
