ΣΣΦ Sigma Chapter Annual Report 2011 Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine

Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (UP-KYCOM) is the 19th school of osteopathic medicine in the country.

Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine KYCOM is located in central Appalachia, the eastern part of Kentucky. The panoramic scenes of hills and valleys have contributed to the often isolated, rural background of this region. Our school’s mission is to produce physicians to serve the people of this region.

Demographic and economic data reveal rates higher than state and national levels for unemployment, work disability, poverty, Medicaid, uninsured and mortality for all ages.

Our Future at KYCOM KYCOM will move into the Coal Building in Spring We all are very excited about the growth of our facilities and the expansion of our class sizes.
