Psalm 61 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Of David.

1 Hear my cry O God; listen to my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth, I call upon you there.

When my heart grows faint, then unto you I cry: Lead me up to the rock that is higher than I!

3 For you have been a refuge unto me, You’re a tower of strength against the enemy.

4 O forever let me in your house abide; May your wings be where I can run and hide.

5 For you, O God, have heard my promises. With those who fear your name you give my heritage.

6 Add unto the king’s days more days yet again, And extend his years to all generations.

7 May he ever dwell before the face of God. With both faithfulness and love appointed to his guard.

8 And to your name I will sing forevermore While I keep my vows all the days of my life. © 2015 Psalter Project. Lyrics: Derek Moore and Marie Garreau. Music: Emily Moore.
